Next station, Tirso de Molina…

Madrid’s subway was inaugurated in October 1919 by the king Alfonso XIII. The first line (1) (the blue one) connected Cuatro Caminos with Sol; only 8 stations and 3.5Km… Now after 87 years is one of the biggest subways in the world, with something like 230Km and 190 stations in 12 Lines…

belle enseigne, je vois que le metro de madrid s'agrandit. A paris, nous mettons en place des tranways.

beautiful sign, I see that the subway of Madrid increases. In Paris, we set up tranways.

I sent you a message on your yesterday's post, but I don't see it there now. When I click on your photo on the portal, it just takes me back to your older Madrid blog. You probably want to fix that. Hope this message prints.

hello kate, I answer u here cause your profile is not available... why is that?... the problem (I think) is that the old Madrid blog (that is not mine)... is madriddailyphoto, and mine is madridailyphoto (with only a 'd')... you can copy the new links on daily photo page... if u have any more problems please contact me...

I love this picture; abstract yet specific; colours and words; composition. Marvellous, thanks.

Looks like my yesterday's comment has gone somewhere in black hole.

I think I did said something like... I like this image because of it's power of colour and dynamic composition.

BTW, I think you should contact Igor or Eric (Paris Daily Photo) to fix a link on DailyPhotoPortal. Like Kate said, it is not pointing to your blog even the thumbnail image is yours.
