In a Sunday without cars you can get really unexpected images... thousands of cars pass right through here every day!!!...

It's great to see people out on bikes or on foot. Most of us are in way too much of a hurry... and for what?

I like this photo. ;-) It's very friendly.

Also in Arona: on sundays no cars along the Lake and buildings look much better when you can then see them in all their glory, without any cars parked in front of them!! Ciao!

We have a car-free sunday too, indeed it gives such unusual scenes. I like this one with the magnificent building. Cities can be so different without cars.

I just love no cars days! I remember the 1st one in Lisbon, as I was working at the time at the most polluted street, Avenida da Liberdade. What a difference!!!
Great background for the cycling boys!

The building looks gorgeous. Btw, do you have a pic of cibeles? I only got to see her and this wonderful building when I was on the bus and took hurried shots of them! lol

There's a lot to be proud of in Stockholm but not this. Unfortunately our city never takes part in no cars days.

The kids are so modern compared to the backdrop.
What a great relief not having any cars on Sundays. It's great that people take advantage, especially the boys!

What a beautiful building! How did you make those cyclists stop for a photograph? I am amazed coz most people would shy away when they see my camera.
