Hi thanks for the visit. Oh you have a nice blog. Thanks for showcasing Madrid. It's one of the many places I really want to see with my own eyes. Your photos are tempting me so much.
I really enjoyed your two blogs.
Great pics! They look almost HDR -are they?
This looks like a large fountain so it must have been difficult and time-consuming to move way back in 1895!
It's great that none of this was ruined during the Spanish Civil War and the Second World War.
How did they ever move that big heavy thing? Amazing!
That's such a huge fountain, how could they possibly have moved it???
It's great that it was never damaged by war!
Thanks for your visit.
They have moved Abu Simbel's temples in Egypt piece by piece, I'm sure the same thing as been done with the fountain... although 70 years earlier...
Another great shot of Cibeles square!!! Beautiful!

Beautiful and really amazing they were able to move this big thing!
I agree with jm! Here in Verona a huge roman marble arch was moved from its original place.
I love your photos, they are really, really stunning. May I ask what type of camera you use?
Thank you for visiting my blog!!
As "Louis" has commented previously, he is certainly enjoying the architectural tour you are giving us of your beautiful city.
Hai, Thanks fr the visit of my blog .
You have a nice photo to share with and I enjoying the architectural and beautiful city.
JUst magificent. I have no idea how they moved it then. Your city is such a beautiful place. The sky is so blue. I am envious!
Wow!!! they moved the whole thing... amazing...
Madrid is beautiful!!!
Thanks for introducing me to the city. :-)
Beautiful fountain, beautiful buildings!
I can't imagine how they moved that huge fountain — and way back in 1895! Wow.
magnifique fontaine, et quelle sculpture, on pourrait avoir le devant de cette sculpture ?
beautiful fountain, and what sculpture. could have the front of this sculpture?
Good shot. Any idea why they moved the fountain?

Esta parte de la castellana estaba cerrada al trafico.
Me gustaba la vista hacia el banco de España y la Gran Vía.
This is just breath taking... I'm agog, simply agog. Such beauty.
And really, I just want to play and have a splash in it!
Great statue and great photo!
You have to see this with your own eyes, if you can....It is just amazing and impressive :-)
