Metropolis Building Details

Remember the Metropolis building by night post, here, well I decided to show you the beautiful details of it's corner facade... This building opens the Gran Via on its east side (corner with Alcalá street). Hope you enjoy it as much as I do... :-)

magnifique, on dirait un ange qui va s'envoler.
splendid, they would say an angel who is going to fly off.

Yes, I am enjoying it!

Suddenly reminds me that I should have detour to Madrid when I was in Spain 2 months ago. Maybe next time!

Love these fabulous intricate details. I would love to see many more. Oh and that fab sky. Didn't see that in Paris but one day and sure not around here lately. Oh dear, we are very dreary lately.

Gorgeous, the sky and all those ornamental details add a nice touch with the Metropolitan sign! I'm very fascinated about statues at the same time as I find them in general quite sinister... well, we all have our weaknesses:)

Majestoso
Seria interessante interpretar todos esses símbolos que decoram Metropolis.

Because you noticed these details in the night lights you can no more forget them. Now you MUST raise your head, and we will do so if we come and visit Madrid.

It has fine details.
The angel in the blue sky, is dramatic.

It's agood thing that details like these ones have remained from earlier days. It would be hard to arise a building like that one today.

This is my favourite picture from the ones I have seen on your blog. In some photos everything just seems to be right and I guess this one of them. I think your pictures are high quality and I enjoy getting to know Madrid through your site. By the way, I just joined CDP with amsterdamdailyphoto.com. You're welcome to visit and comment.
