Royal Palace by Night...


Also called Orient palace is the biggest royal palace in western Europe it as 135.000m² and more than 3.000 rooms...
It's construction began in 1738, work of the architects Fillippo Juvara, Juan Bautista Sachetti, Ventura Rodriguez and Francesco Sabatini; but it was not untill 1964 that the king Carlos III (Charles III) could finaly live in his new "home"...

I'm glad I don't have that many rooms in my house. ;-) That's 9 or 10 rooms to clean every day just to clean each room once a year. Too much work!!

I visited Madrid when I was 16, but I don't remember much of it. What a beautiful picture:)
