KIO TOWERS

Europe’s door from Valdezarza neighbourhood, better known as KIO towers (Kuwait Investments Office), are two twin towers in the highest area of Madrid, Plaza de Castilla, their 114 meters tall and have a 15º inclination one towards the other. Work of the architects Philip Johnson y John Burgee, and the first inclined towers in the world.

From this angle it looks like much more than a 15 degrees incline! Good picture.

Very, very interesting. I have never seen buildings like that before. I like how they are hightlighted and the shadows in the foreground.

Great!
The tower looks very strange in this picture. Because it highlighted like this, it's almost coming down from other space and just landed there. I know I should stop reading SF, but don't you agree with me?

superb photograph and light. one would say two large dominos loan to fall on the city…

It doesn’t exist one city… their are many!... The objective of MadriDailyPhoto, still at it’s first steps, is to give different ways of seeing, in this case the city of Madrid… The images of Puer-atelier are more than simple compositive esthetic… they tell histories… and take to reflection… and maybe even more important, give an unique and personal vision of Madrid, necessarily different of mine and yours, that’s why enriching…

Thanks every one for visit and comment… In the next months we expect that MAD team get bigger and more diversified…
