LAST SUPPERS

Still Lavapies, because it is the quarter where life appears more naked. It is a very centric area of Madrid, old part of the city and very special. Inhabited by immigrants and other border's way of life. We can still hear public conversations and also fights at Plaza de Lavapies. Antiheroes of capitalism having supper with Baco.

Great photo of a moment in time. People live so may different ways, some are harder to understand than others.
Interesting choice of pillow for the one man.

There are more and more of these people everywhere. And we live in what we call civilization.

Fantastic street photos. You are doing a wonderful job. I like the big format too. Madrid is well represented with your daily photos. Art, people, architecture...

A great, real-life photo. It's good to expose life as it really is sometimes, so it's very interesting.

What strikes me most about this photo is the man using a stuffed doll for a pillow. There is something very tender but almost.. almost gut wrenching in that scenerio.

Truly "a slice of life"! In addition to city-beautiful, which we all tend to put in order to put the best foot forward re. our cities, I very much enjoy candid photos of life in the city. This is truly a human interest view.

thanks to all your comments¡¡
we all have seen these scenes, I wanted to emphatize with them and show something magic and non-ordinary, life exposed..

Saludotes y me gusta mucho tu blog.
