One of them.

One bright night I went out to take a shot.
Looking for the right light I caught a lot.

You sure did! The lights are so pretty and that building is just fantastic! I find the angel both beautiful and fearsome somehow.

The picture is amazing. It is one of my favorites spots in Madrid. But, for your information, it is not an angel. It is Athena, greek goddess of Victory. It is represented winged because the victory can fly to one side or another in a battle. If you go to Gran Vía and Alcalá, you can find more greek mithology on the rooftops. Could you find them?

Me encanta esta foto y este edificio. Cuando era nina pequena este era mi favorito edificio de Madrid ya que vivia cerca en la calle de San Bernardo....desde los 10 anos vivo en Australia y me ha emocionado mucho ver su foto. Muchas gracias.

It is a perfect object for a night shot and you captured it very well. I do notice a great contrast between the exceptional rich beauty of the building and what appears to be a beggar on the steps to the right. I don't know whether that was intentional, but it does give the picture a symbolic dimension too.

What a great photo! You are making me miss Madrid very much! Well, Spain in general... Barcelona is equally beautiful in my heart! Are you from Madrid?

It is quite common to see beggars...I've seen them on the steps of cathedrals.
....a marvelous shot.
